Credit Conversion
At Diponte, international students’ transcripts are welcomed and accepted. In order to be assessed and evaluated for Ontario Secondary Credits, students must provide their transcripts starting from grade 9, obtained from their latest academic institution. The submission must comprise the original transcript with seal, along with a translated copy. Generally, the conversion of credits is carried out according to the specific course and grade achieved.
Study Visa For International Students
The documents needed for a child’s study depend on their originating country, the chosen program, and its overall length:
- For study programs lasting six months or less, there’s no need for a study permit.
- A study permit is mandatory for programs that extend beyond six months.
- If your child is enrolled in a program of six months or less and intends to continue their studies in another program after finishing their Diponte program, it will be necessary to apply for a study permit before your child arrives in Canada.
- For further details regarding visas and required documents, please refer to the CIC’s website at www.cic.gc.ca. Alternatively, you can reach out to us, as we have a licensed immigration consultant on staff who exclusively handles study visas for our office.

Application Process
To inquire about or apply for the 2023-24 school year please follow the steps below:
Step 1 – Request information.
To learn more about Diponte, please complete the online registration form at the bottom of this page. Our school admission office will contact you.
Step 2 – Begin your application.
Apply online: Our admission officer will guide you through the application.The application form will be provided ,and an non-refundable application fee of $50.00 will be applied.
Application materials: All application materials must be submitted,the documents must be in English or being translated into English and notarized.
English proficiency tests: English proficiency Testing is required for all international applicants whose first language is not English. The prior placement assessment, including written & oral exams in English and written exams in mathematics, will be given to students on the first day of school.
Apply for financial aid & Scholarship: Diponte provides a variety of scholarship and financial aids in the forms of grants ,both in need based and merit based. In the 2022-2023 school year, 20% of our students received some form of financial aid.
Step 3 – Schedule your admission interview.
We want to know what makes you shine! Candidates applying for the 2023-2024 school year are eligible to schedule their interview virtually or in person with an admissions officer. Interviews are a required part of the application process and can be completed either on campus or virtually.
