Robotics & Technology
In today’s fast-paced, technologically-driven environment, the challenges our children face are ever-evolving. At Diponte, we believe in equipping our students with the tools and knowledge they need to navigate, contribute to, and lead in this brave new world.
Diving Deep into the World of Technology
Our commitment to technology isn’t just limited to theoretical learning. We offer hands-on courses in technology design(TDJ) and communication design(TGJ) that students can access both in person and online. Beyond traditional classroom experiences, our students are encouraged to immerse themselves in our dedicated tech workspace, participate in weekly robotics workshops, and engage with peers in afterschool technology clubs.
In a landmark partnership since 2019, we have teamed up with the Canada National STEAM Centre to consistently refine and expand our technology curriculum, ensuring our students are always a step ahead.
Our Technology Curriculum Pillars
Programming: The Heartbeat of Robotics
Understanding programming is foundational in today’s digital world. Our curriculum introduces students to the essential concepts and languages of coding , providing them with the skills to bring their innovative ideas to life.
Robotics: From Concept to Creation
Foundations with Arduino: Our students learn the intricacies of Arduino—an open-source electronics platform—which serves as a stepping stone to build and understand intricate robotic systems.
FIRST Robotics Competition: Taking learning outside the classroom, our students participate in the FIRST Robotics Competition, challenging them to design, build, and program robots to compete against others, teaching them teamwork, problem-solving, and engineering skills.
3-D Printing: Shaping the Future
With the ability to transform digital designs into tangible objects, 3-D printing is revolutionizing industries. Our curriculum imparts knowledge on 3-D modeling and printing, enabling students to visualize, design, and create prototypes and models, bridging the gap between imagination and reality.
AI (Artificial Intelligence): The New Frontier
Understanding AI: At its core, AI is about mimicking human intelligence. We introduce our students to the foundational concepts of AI, making them comprehend its vast potentials and ethical implications.
Training AI: Beyond theory, students learn how to train AI using datasets. They’re equipped to harness the power of AI to analyze data, recognize patterns, and solve real-world problems, preparing them for the AI-driven future.
We believe in a holistic approach to technology education, combining rigorous academic learning with practical hands-on experience. Our students are not just passive consumers of technology—they are its next-generation innovators.
