Tuition Fees Clarifications

The tuition fee covers a comprehensive package of 8 accredited OSSD (Ontario Secondary School Diploma) courses. These courses are designed to provide a solid educational foundation and are an integral part of the academic program we offer.

In addition to the base tuition fee, there may be additional tuition charges based on the results received from the initial placement tests if additional courses needed. These tests are conducted to assess the students’ proficiency and ensure they are placed in appropriate academic levels.

Application Fee Clarifications

The application fee is a one-time, non-refundable charge. It is important to note that paying the application fee does not guarantee acceptance into the school. The application process includes a thorough evaluation of the student’s academic background and other relevant factors before a decision is made.

To be considered for admission, the application fee must be paid in full before receiving the letter of acceptance. This is to ensure that the application process proceeds smoothly and promptly.

Accommodation Options for International Students

We provide two accommodation options for our international students: co-managed dormitories and homestay families. Both options offer a safe and nurturing environment for students to focus on their studies while experiencing cultural diversity and personal growth.

The co-managed dormitories are supervised and managed by our dorm master, providing a supportive community for students to interact and bond with their peers.

Alternatively, students can choose to stay with homestay families, which offers a unique opportunity to immerse themselves in Canadian culture and practice English in a family setting.

Third-Party Fees Clarifications

Please note that this document does not cover fees payable to third-party organizations, such as Visa application fees, OUAC (Ontario Universities’ Application Centre) application fees, and IELTS (International English Language Testing System) test fees. These fees are separate from the tuition and accommodation fees provided by our institution.The actual rates of these third-party fees may change at the time of payment, as they are subject to the policies and regulations of the respective organizations.

Refund Policy

The application fee is non-refundable.

Tuition refunds are strictly provided when a student’s Study Permit Application is declined by Citizenship and Immigration Canada. No tuition refunds are given in the following scenarios:

  • Voluntary withdrawal from Diponte Academy by the student.
  • Expulsion or removal due to breach of school rules or disciplinary policies.
  • Submission of inaccurate medical details or failure to disclose medical conditions.

For a refund request, the following documents are mandatory:

  • A signed Letter of Explanation by both the student and their guardian.
  • The genuine Letter of Rejection from Citizenship and Immigration Canada.
  • The authentic Official Letter of Acceptance from Diponte Academy.
  • Proof of tuition payment receipt.
